Hi, my name is Kelsey, owner and operator of Lucky Leash.                        

I’m a wife and dog mom of two wild puppies: Jaci, a five-year old Catahoula/Labrador, and Cooper, also five- year-old Catahoula/Heeler/Border Collie. In my free time I enjoy running, walking, and hiking the foothills with our young dogs. I also enjoy trail riding and camping with friends and family.

I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals, which led me to my first pet-related job in 2005, working in veterinary clinics. I started as a kennel attendant, but was quickly promoted to veterinary assistant and then veterinary technician. This resulted in 11 years of professional experience with a variety of pets, large and small, from horses to hamsters.

Wanting to experience a variety of roles in the pet industry, I shifted my career to pet insurance. After transitioning to office jobs, I realized how much I missed working directly with animals. I decided to get back to doing what I love the most, caring and playing with pets. I’m very excited to announce the grand opening of Lucky Leash, which offers professional pet services.
